"Terrified" is a great insight about critically understanding our representatives' seeming spinelessness. Allow me to expand on why they're terrified: because it's the world's greatest job, bar none. You have NO boss. You get 'annual' reviews only every 6 years. You have an office near your family and away from your family. You have essentially unaccounted expenses. Any you have godlike reverence. We must have term limits. The founding fathers were geniuses, but didn't foresee this. Great article.
