- Allow guests to serve themselves from both sides. (The servers can always butt in to replenish.)
- Put plates and bowls BEFORE the food.
- Put utensils and napkins AFTER the food.
- Have bowls — that are distinctly not suitable for personal use — in front of each item for serving utensils.
