Marble placed and described in the 1707 inventory. … Change of pedestal, August 1715. Transported and placed in March 1719 … in the Tuileries Gardens. … Housed at the Louvre from 1939 to 1945. Entered the Louvre on October 22, 1993 and replaced by an overmold in its original location.
