Compass Colors

The directions of the compass should have colors associated with them. That way, when you walk off of a train, or out of a train station or airport, or get off of a bus at a terminal, you can tall from the wall colors which way you are facing. I propose the following colors:

It’s a little bit Northern Hemisphere-centric, but over 85 percent of the world lives above the equator so get over it.

North: blue, suggestive of the Arctic ice.

South: green, suggestive of vegetation.

East: yellow, suggestive of the rising sun.

West: red, suggestive of the setting sun.
